    Baggy pants wearing thin

Okay, this whole baggy pants thing has me perplexed. Places like Opa Locka and Atlanta have banned wearing sagging pants in public. BANNED! Meaning city lawmakers have sat around discussing a fashion(?) fad/trend and decided to try and eradicate it.

Now the state lawmakers are involved, with a bill that will punish students who wear saggy, baggy pants and expose their "back ends or sexual organs". And by expose, the lawmakers are not necessarily talking about the showing of flesh - the lawmakers are referring to the underwear showing. So it's exposure of (usually) boxer shorts, or another layer of clothing.

I can certainly understand a school's dress code, or a place of business banning certain attire but, I don't understand how this has reached the place of bills, laws, and punishment, oh my!

Do I find this fashion appealing? No, not really. Am I impressed by (usually) his ability to walk with his belted pants mid-thigh? Yes, yes I am.

What am I missing in as far as laws being needed? Do bad fashion choices as a youth really lead to indolent adults?

If that's the case, I have two words ... tube top!
