Destruction of property, people clawing at belongings, thousands injured while others able to rejoice - A sold out Hannah Montana concert? The California fires? The Bangladesh cyclone? No, it's the biggest shopping day of the year... drumroll please... BLACK FRIDAY!!!!
Crazed bargain seekers, er um, I mean savvy shoppers will be up at all kinds of early hours to get the best deals on the hottest gifts.

The Keys to a Dream House

You may have read Susan Wise's November 14th post... it was all about the HGTV Dream House that was built in Islamorada. It's 3 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath, 3 floors (I'm sensing a theme here), and is said to be worth about $2.2 million. The house was built by Keys native, Juan Dellanos, whose Dellanos Construction is based in Tavernier.
Soon, you'll be able to not only take a tour of the home, you'll be able to register to win it!
Tours will be $20 and run January 3rd though March 2nd, with proceeds going to the Florida Keys Children's Shelter. The online sweepstakes to win the house will be open January 1st through February 19th. The Dream House winner will be announced March 18th. Let me know if you enter and, Good Luck!
