'Clear' through airport security

Say what? Can you imagine being able to bypass those loooong lines and get through airport security with minimal effort? Neither could I, but holy quart-sized ziploc Batman, there is now a way. Clear is the name, fast pass through airport security is the game. You have to pay to become a Clear member, and you have to go to a Clear enrollment location - where you present oodles of ID, including an iris image. You still have to go through the metal detector, and your things through X-Ray, but testimonials have the Clear way up to 30% faster than the standard removal of shoes way.

Since this is a relatively new service, not every airport uses Clear Lanes. You can, however, let your favorite airport know if you'd like them to start.
