    Delicious Pizza Fusion

Pizza Fusion - Saving The Earth One Pizza At A Time! I've seen articles about this place and had been wanting to go try it out. It being Earth Month, I finally decided to find out if their pizza was as good as their earth-friendly pratices. It is!! I had a delicious cheese pizza on a multi-grain crust - thin, cripsy, organic ingredients - absolutely awesome. Then I went back and had the goat cheese and sun-dried tomatoes on multi-grain crust - equally as awesome! I'll be back...

    Here's one review:

Pizza that's good, and good for you
The back story: The chain's motto may be "Fresh, Organic, Earth Friendly," but its real mission could be best summarized as follows: "Saving the Planet One Pizza at a Time."
Seriously, green here is more than the color of a vegetable. The chain employs energy-saving practices throughout its company. Pizza that's good, and good for you and keeps things as organic and natural as possible when it comes to what it serves.
The atmosphere: Lots of wood and smooth surfaces speak to the casual, organic spirit of the place. There's indoor and outdoor seating — or take your order to go.
The food: For all the hype that has surrounded Pizza Fusion for its earth-friendly practices, it should be noted that it turns out some tasty pies.
These are closer to flatbread pizzas, and they come with your choice of crusts (organic flour, multi-grain or gluten-free) and gourmet toppings that include New York strip steak, wild-caught Key West shrimp and soy mozzarella.
We opted for a hearty prosciutto-and-black-olive specialty pie, but we could have just as easily gone for the "Founder's Pie" (with chicken, Gorgonzola and mozzarella cheeses and kalamata olives) or a pesto and walnut pie.
Other menu options are delicious soft breadsticks (order them with the olive tapenade for dipping); salads bursting with flavorful, fresh greens; and a few sandwiches and wraps. A small wine list is available (on Tuesdays, take advantage of a great special — buy a large specialty pie and you get a free bottle of organic wine).
The service: Near perfect. The folks here take pride in their business (and the philosophy behind it), and it clearly shows.
The prices: The pies are a bit pricey. A basic medium runs $14, a large is $18, and specialty ones range from $16 (for the medium "Very Vegan Pizza") to $48 (for a large "Surf & Turf Pizza" with steak, shrimp and lobster). Salads and sandwiches are $15 and under.
The bottom line: Again, as tempting as it might be to see Pizza Fusion as a green-minded gimmick, the pizza and other menu items make it a serious dining destination, with equal appeal to gourmands who may drive gas-guzzling SUVs. Plus, the restaurant is very friendly for those who might suffer from food allergies.
The chain should be expanding throughout Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast — and we look forward to seeing more Pizza Fusions in our back yard. But we do hope they find an energy-efficient ice machine — lukewarm tap water just doesn't cut it.

    Cell Phone Etiquette

Someone using a cell phone around your personal space is all but inevitable; however, it's where they're deciding to use the cell phone that's becoming a problem. We've heard many complaints about people answering their cell phones in churches, movie theatres, and Broadway shows. Now, people are using their cell phones in public restrooms... a lot! That simply crosses the line of good taste - there is nothing so important, that it needs to be discussed in a room filled with people doing their business.
Many companies have gone so far as to display "This is a no cell phone zone" or "Turn off your cell phone before entering" signs.
If you're unsure of what's acceptable, use the Ten Commandments of Cell Phone Etiquette as your guide.
If you're stuck in a cellular service contract and you don't know how to get out of it, there are companies out there to help you.

    Manners becoming extinct

A survey in Britain concludes that manners have fallen by the wayside. There's too much lenity with parents when it comes to teaching manners to their children, so says 90% of the Britons polled.

    'Fit but Fat' being revisited

New research has come out that challenges the whole 'fit but fat' theory. This study involved 39,000 women who were tracked for 11 years. Using the combination of physical activity and body mass, the study sought the overall chances of developing heart disease. Turns out excess weight, no matter how much you exercise, can increase your chance of cardiovascular problems.

    Lay you down to sleep

You've heard it all before... sleep is important to your well being. And, if your being is well, you function a whole lot better.
Animals seem to get it right, why can't we? Oh yeah, they don't have to work...

    Truck accessory banned?

This is a sensitive story - it's about a certain accessory that some truck owners put on the back hitch of their vehicles. The accessory resembles rocky mountain oysters and Florida Senator Carey Baker finds the gimcrack to be obscene; so much so, he introduced a bill to ban the ornament. The bill was passed by the Florida Senate and if Governor Crist signs it into law, drivers will be fined $60, get moving violations, and points on their driver's license.

    Animal stories

We've had some weird, wayward animal stories in the news lately; here's a few we mentioned this morning:

    Horse jumps into orchestra pit
    3,000-lb. bull jumps into crowd
    8-foot alligator in woman's kitchen
    Golfer attacked by 8-foot gator
    State bird is mocking us
    Gopher tortoise as state symbol

    Mommy's plastic surgery

Miami-based plastic surgeon Michael Salzhauer is now also an author. My Beautiful Mommy is a book to help women who are planning to have plastic surgery explain it to their kids. The book is written from the perspective of a young girl whose mom is about to undergo a nose job and tummy tuck.

Another plastic surgeon commented, "It's a narrow niche, but there's a need for it. There are patients who frequently will ask what they should tell their kids when they're bruised for a few days."

I am rubber, you are glue

Here are the 4 things you should never tease a guy about, according to Cosmopolitan Magazine:

Money: Men believe that their financial worth reflects their inner worth. So teasing them about salaries is really another way of making fun of their manhood.

Hair: If there's anything men are sensitive about -- it's hair. Every guys worries about losing his locks one day, because he truly believes that with his hair goes his ability to attract women.

Height: And men can't do anything about their height. Although there have been many pun-yet-powerful types like Napoleon and, um, Napoleon, studies show that taller men are taken more seriously than shorter guys. And there is a commonly held belief that the taller a guy is, the proportionately bigger he is elsewhere.

Manhood: It's easy for women to tease a man about his member since they don't have one, but on guys' list of priorities, it's just below breathing. Teasing a man about his member implies you're comparing him to someone else.

Love in all the right places

A survey by AXE, makers of bodyspray for men, asked ladies, "Where would be the best place to pick up a woman?" Only a slim 19% of ladies met the last guy they dated in a bar - 24% would be embarrassed to tell their families that they're dating a guy they met in a bar.
    So where's the hot spots?
53% of ladies say a coffee shop
    41% go with bookstore
40% think a gym is a good place
    35% chose the grocery store

    Here's the kicker guys:
90% of girls admit they've seen a cute guy while going about their daily routines who they wished would've made a move and talked to them, 30% of the ladies adding that guys blow them most opportunities by not doing or saying anything.
