That's the Spirit, Winterfest changes course

Spirit Airlines is planning to add 10 new routes from Ft. Lauderdale. Spirit is asking for your ideas and you can submit your proposal through August 10th.

The 36th Winterfest Boat Parade is changing course! Used to be the pretty boats motored up from the Port Everglades/17th Street Causeway area north to Pompano. The 2007 themed "Magical Movie Moments" Parade will now begin at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts on the New River... the end point remains the same. The parade that really floats is scheduled for December 15th, 6:30 p.m.
