    Now I gotta recut Footloose

Inspired by the death of a friend's sister, Doveman has recorded the entire Footloose Soundtrack. It sounds very different than the original, but gives the songs a new feel.
Let's hear it for the boy... er, man... Doveman.

    Have you seen the video?

No, not the (former)BK employee taking a bath in a Burger King utility sink, although that's pretty funny... hold the pickle, hold the bathwater, please! The video I'm talking about is the 35-year-old Christian the Lion video. It's incredible to watch. See for yourself!

    Eau de We ID

Just when you think you've heard it all...

There is a new fragrance called Tom of Finland - in order to purchase a bottle of TOF in this U.S. of A., you'll need to be 21 or older!!!??? Why? So glad you asked! Fragrance designers Gary Robinson and David Johnson procured the rights to the works of the artist known as Tom of Finland... The packaging of the bottle opens to reveal some of TOF's sketches; if you haven't figured it out yet, the works are ribald in nature... very ribald. The scent includes notes of metal, pepperwood, tonka beans and musk - 50-milliliter eau de parfum will cost about $110.

Or you could just stick to your Love's Baby Soft wild ways...

    Vote leaves a paper trail

Everything old is new again - we're back to paper ballots! Optical scan voting machines will be used in all elections to ensure a paper trail in the event of a recount. Early voting for the Primary Election has already begun and shall end on August 24th. Tuesday, August 26th is the Primary Election. You can even practice with the new technology...

    R.A.D. FOR WOMEN
    -Don't Be Victimized By Fear-
Personal Empowerment and Safety Education for Women
Is Your Safety a Worthwhile Investment?
The R.A.D. Program: R.A.D. (Rape Aggression Defense) is a women’s self-defense program that focuses on awareness, risk reduction, and practical physical defense techniques. The philosophy and techniques were designed specifically with women, and the types of assaults against women, in mind. For that reason, the program places an emphasis on the woman’s awareness of her surroundings with recognizing and avoiding risk as a primary concern. R.A.D.’s physical techniques take advantage of the natural strengths of women’s bodies and are specifically intended to identify the attacker’s weaknesses.
The Basic-Plus Physical Defense program consists of 12 hours of instruction that include:
In depth discussion and exploration of risk reduction and awareness strategies
    Practical basic, physical defense techniques
Supervised simulations that include powerful, simulated attack scenarios where heavily padded instructors offer the participants an exciting opportunity to test their newly developed defensive skills. These realistic attack scenarios also increase the participants’ personal confidence in their ability to carry out the physical techniques in order to protect themselves when they are under stress
Debriefing and group discussion opportunity for students to explore and discuss feelings related to their experiences
