I'd like to thank the Academy

The 80th Academy Awards will be presented this Sunday. The writer's strike had the ceremony in question, but with the strike finally settled, Jon Stewart will once again host the Oscars.
In keeping with Oscar tradition, the awards ceremony is immediately preceded by the Barbara Walters Oscar Special.

Florida Start-up OBLI Organics Scores Coveted Inclusion in Celebrity Gift Baskets for OSCAR® Winners and Sundance Film Festival Attendees

Sarasota, FLA (January 21, 2008) — Organic clothing company OBLI Organics, founded last year in Sarasota by sisters Michelle Young and Melissa Blanco, has announced that the company’s 100% certified organic children’s clothing line has been selected for inclusion as a gift item in the customized OSCAR® gift baskets sent to winners, as well as in the arrival gift baskets for celebrities attending this week’s Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.

“This is such an exciting time for us, said Michelle Young, OBLI founder. To be included in these promotions really gives OBLI wonderful visibility that we hope will open up more opportunities for our products.” The clothing, which is made from 100% certified organic cotton, sports positive eco-messages in hip graphics silk screened using non-PVC dyes and manufactured using fair trade practices.

    Onesie Designs Include:

    I’m Bringing ECO Back

For the OSCAR® gift baskets, OBLI will participate by providing items to be included in 35 customized gift baskets or “swag” for Academy Award® winners who are parents of toddlers or young children. The items will be chosen based on the age and gender of the winners’ children. “It is very common for award shows to hand pick new and emerging brands such as OBLI,” said Young. Since organic and green items are so popular with celebrities who support the green and organic movement, we are delighted to be the only children’s organic clothing line selected for the “swag” baskets.” The OSCAR® nominees will be announced on January 22, 2008, and the 80th Annual broadcast is scheduled for February 24, 2008.

    Something you can count on

Old Faithful! The old Geyser has remained predictable enough that the eruption schedule posted is +/- 10 minutes. Aside the Old Faithful Cam, Yellowstone National Park provides webcams to see Mount Washburn and Mammoth Hot Springs. Keep in mind Old Faithful plays on Mountain Time, which is two hours behind us.

A car that drives on land and under the sea. My first thought upon seeing the photo was, "It's a convertible??!!!". Seems that was the general consensus of those writing articles about the Swiss designed concept car. Not unlike your watch, the sQuba can travel to a depth of 30 feet. Just make sure to take the dry cleaning out of the car before going for a swim...

Will he have two left cleats?

Jason Taylor, defensive end for the Miami Dolphins & Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year, will be part of televisions "Dancing With The Stars". Season 6 begins mid-March and Jason will be one of the 12 competitors hoofin' it.
Mr. Taylor's already in fine form, but as you know, anyone who's been on that show has an amazing body transformation. Does this mean he'll go from defensive to tight(er) end? Just wondering....
