    Fake address a felony?

WOW! If you use a fake address to get your kids into a different school, you could be charged with a felony under a new policy passed in Broward County. Using the fake address would be considered perjury, a third-degree felony punishable by up to 5 years in prison and a $5,000 fine. A Broward school board member suggests that instead of falsifying documents you could request reassignment to another school, or apply to a magnet school.

The lesson here: Liar, liar pants on fire = felony!

    Road Rage destroys lives

8/7/8 - So, it's official - Mr. Wonder confessed to killing Agent Pettit. It was a case of road rage...ROAD RAGE... are you kidding me? Road rage takes husbands from wives, fathers from children, all to prove what? Agent Pettit was married for 18 years and had two kids. Mr. Wonder was married 30 years and it's unknown at this time if they have kids. Either way, both lives destroyed because of something so stupid.

8/6/8 UPDATE!!! The police say they have their man. The person of interest, 65-year-old James Wonder, was detained earlier today. Now police say he is the person who killed Don Pettit. The only question left is ... why?

A Federal Agent, Don Pettit, was murdered today - and it wasn't at all job related. Agent Pettit was murdered in a Post Office parking lot potentially over a parking space... and he was killed in front of his 12-year-old daughter.
Our deepest sympathy to the Pettit family.

    Beijing or Bust

The Games of the XXIX Olympiad begin this Friday, and there are many South Floridian athletes taking part in the competition. Did you know that badminton is an Olympic sport?
A shuttlecock kill is sure to be had in Beijing! Trampoline is another Olympic event as is Table Tennis. We refer to the latter as Ping Pong, but then again, it certainly wasn't an Olympic sport, especially the way I play.
Swimming will be one of the big events to watch because you have two major stories going on:
Michael Phelps, who'll take a run at Mark Spitz record seven gold medals; and Dara Torres who, at 41, will attempt to win the 50-meter race. It's her 5th Olympics, her first came before Phelps was born.
