I guess inexpensive is a relative term, but I wanted to throw some information your way that could keep you (and the kids) from going stir crazy this summer. With gas and grocery prices climbing hourly, it's not as easy to afford outings. A few ideas:
The Day-At-The-Beach Deal! This is such a cool idea - an oceanfront suite at the Pelican Grand Beach Resort is yours all yours from 8a-6p. Plus, you have access to the ocean, the pool and the lazy river. Throw in some free ice cream and it's a great deal! It's $99 for up to six people; a place for naps, snacks, and showers before you head home and no sand in the car, priceless.
For couples looking to getaway close to home on the cheap, how about a local Bed & Breakfast?

There's always the picnic at the park! Whether it be in Miami-Dade, Broward, or a new park experience, admission is cheap, the food is made at home, and there's quality time with the family!
