Baby Ruth-ulele

It's the 100th anniversary of the song "Take Me Out To The Ballgame"! In honor, Baby Ruth sponsored a contest whereby the winner will get to sing the famous tune during the 7th inning stretch of the All-Star Game! The three finalists performed earlier today and a celebrity panel decided who will perform tomorrow at Yankee Stadium. There was guy with the ukulele accompanied by a sousaphone, the guy with the guitar and harmonica, and the guy who played eight different characters. The winner? Adam Wilbur and his ukulele ! Adam said, "It's been really wild and it's hard not to get nervous, but I'm going to play the ukulele really hard, rock out, and do what I do."
This will be the last All-Star Game at the original Yankee Stadium; a new stadium, also to be named Yankee Stadium is being built next door and will open for the 2009 baseball season.
